On YouTube, you have the option to create a watchlist like the ones we do for our OTT movies and TV shows. Whenever you come across a video that you find interesting but don't have time to watch, you can put it in the "Watch Later" playlist. Considering how easy it is to save videos in your Watch Later, users tend to stuff it with too many videos which makes it very chaotic. For example, I have over 100 unwatched videos in my Watch Later section. In this article, I will show you how you can delete videos from YouTube Watch Later.

How to delete Watch Later videos from YouTube

You have the option to individually delete or remove each video from Watch Later, but when the number is high, it can take a long time. Clearing watch later with our method will remove partially viewed and fully viewed videos from your YouTube. If you want to empty the whole list, the only way to do that is to delete each video individually.

Remove YouTube Watch Later from desktop

Here's how to clear the "Watch Later" section of your YouTube account from your computer:

• Open YouTube.com on your Windows, Mac or Linux computer
• Sign in if you haven't already and in the options bar to your left, select Watch Later
• Here you will find all the videos you have selected to watch later. Next to the shuffle icon, there is a three-dot icon. Click on it and select Delete Watched Videos
• Acknowledge the warning by clicking Delete and you will find that all the videos you have partially or fully watched have been removed from the Watch Later playlist

Remove YouTube Watch Later on mobile phones

The process described above can also be replicated on your Android or iOS YouTube app. Here's how:

• Open YouTube on your phone
• In the options bar at the bottom, click on Library
• You will see Watch Later (with the number of unwatched videos) in the list of options. Click on it
• Here, the three-point ellipse icon is at the top right. Select that and then click Delete Watched Videos
• Acknowledge the warning as done above and your YouTube Watch Later will not consist of videos you have already seen
