Hewlett-Packard has integrated voice control into its web-connected printers, allowing users with Alexa, Cortana, or Google Home to print everyday documents hands-free. While options are currently limited, this feature simplifies printing preformatted items like lists and calendars without needing a computer.

To enable voice printing with Amazon Alexa, you'll need an Alexa-enabled device (such as Echo, Echo Dot, Echo Show, or Echo Spot) and an HP printer with web services enabled. Use your smartphone (Android or iOS), Fire tablet, or computer for setup.
Your printer must be connected to your network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet—USB-connected printers won't work. The connection uses a secure cloud service, supporting one network printer per local network.
First, locate your printer's ePrint email address. Follow these steps:
Press the ePrint or Network Configuration button on your printer. For some models, navigate: Setup > Settings > Wireless Settings.

With the email ready, enable the HP Printer skill in Alexa.
Download the Alexa app if needed (on your phone or Fire tablet). Open it, tap the menu icon, and select Skills & Games.

Search for "HP Printer," tap the result, and select Enable to Use.

Grant permissions, enter your printer's email, and tap "Finish and Start Printing."
Visit Amazon.com, click the search bar dropdown, and select Alexa Skills.

Search for "HP Printer" and select it.

Click "Enable to Use," enter the printer email, and submit. For all commands, visit the HP Printer Skill page on Amazon.
Alexa supports printing shopping/to-do lists, coloring pages, comics, calendars, crosswords, Sudoku, and word searches.
Say: "Alexa, ask my printer to..." followed by commands like:
While digital devices handle most tasks, printing remains useful. Add items to lists via voice, then print to check them off. It's a fun, instant activity for kids too. This setup isn't daily-use but adds convenient flexibility.
