With rising vehicle numbers causing traffic and parking woes, Google Maps' parking difficulty icons give you advance notice. Ratings range from Limited and Average to Easy, powered by historical data and Google's machine learning.

Simply plan your route, and the bottom info sheet displays parking details. Note: Available in 25 cities globally.
Finding parking in busy areas is tough, but returning to it can be harder. Google Maps' Save Parking feature pinpoints your spot effortlessly in malls or crowded streets.


Tap the blue dot and select Save Parking. Add notes or a timer for reminders.
Need quick info on a spot? Google Maps now lets you ask and answer location-specific questions, much like 'Google it' for businesses.

Access the menu, select Location Sharing, choose 15 minutes to 3 days, and share via WhatsApp or other apps. Great for family tracking too.
Google Maps now shows estimates for Uber, Ola, and Meru Cabs, helping you compare fares before booking externally.


Select public transport mode, enter your route, view fares, then book in the respective app.
