Uber aims to make transportation seamless and hassle-free, and it's expanding integrations with popular third-party apps. This allows you to request a ride without switching apps. While some features are currently U.S.-only, they're rolling out globally soon.
Contents:
1. Request a ride in Facebook Messenger
2. Plan a trip with TaxiLater
3. Request a ride in Foursquare
4. Request a ride in Telegram

Thanks to these integrations, you can now even schedule rides in advance. Here's how to order an Uber from apps you already use daily.
Facebook Messenger features an Uber bot that lets you hail a ride to your current location mid-conversation.

In a chat, tap the car icon to select Uber (or Lyft). The Uber bot will guide you through the process.

Tap Request a ride to log in, enable location, set pickup and destination. Your saved payment method handles the rest. Confirm, and get an ETA for your driver.
Scheduling Uber rides ahead is now possible with the free TaxiLater app. Download, log in with Uber credentials, and get started.

Its interface mirrors Uber's: set pickup, destination, time/date, and service type (UberX, UberBLACK, etc.). Tap Request Uber to book.
Foursquare integrates Uber for easy rides to explored spots. On a location page, tap the Uber icon below the address for an ETA.

Select your service or open the Uber app. It also shows fare estimates from your location.
Telegram's bots include @myuberbot for seamless Uber requests on mobile or desktop. Start a chat with "myuberbot" and tap Start.

Authenticate via Uber link, enter pickup address, choose service by number, and confirm.
Note: Add @myuberbot manually from Telegram's Bot Store if needed.
