Entertainment apps on the Apple TV App Store, like Netflix, HBO Now, Time Magazine, and Apple Music, often offer convenient weekly or monthly subscriptions.

Subscriptions through the App Store enable auto-renewal by default, billing you each cycle whether you use the service or not. Fortunately, you can handle these directly on your Apple TV.
Tip: View subscriptions started on iOS or Mac here too, as long as they share your Apple ID.
Start in the Settings app on the home screen.
Swipe down and select Accounts.

Scroll to the bottom and choose Manage Subscriptions. You must be signed in with your Apple ID for iTunes and the App Store.
Enter your iTunes Store password to proceed, even if already signed in.

Tip: Use the free Remote app on iPhone or iPad for easier typing—the Apple TV remote can be frustrating. It also controls iTunes on your Mac or PC.
After verification, see all device subscriptions. Tap one for details like status, current plan, and expiration date.

Adjust options below: Switch plans (e.g., Apple Music individual to family for $5 more/month) or select Turn Off Auto-Renewal to end at the billing period's close. Canceled subscriptions remain listed for quick renewal.

Terms appear on the left side.
That's everything for Apple TV. Manage them also in iOS Settings or your iTunes account page.
