Ever noticed ads appearing mid-post on top blogs, right after the first or second paragraph? Beginners often wonder if this is manual drudgery or clever automation. As experienced WordPress publishers behind List25, we've perfected this for years. Here's our proven method to insert ads precisely within your post content.
Manually pasting ad code is tedious and breaks when switching networks. Instead of clunky plugins for just above/below-post ads, use our targeted approach for in-content placement.
We've relied on this at List25 after early paragraphs, fielding countless user questions. The simplest way: install our free Insert Post Ads plugin.
Activate it, and a new Post Ads menu appears. Click Post Ads » Add New. Name your ad, paste the code, select the paragraph (e.g., after 2nd), and publish.

Then, visit Post Ads » Settings to choose post types like posts, pages, or custom types.
Prefer code? Add this to your theme's functions.php or a site-specific plugin:
Replace $ad_code with your ad (line 5). Adjust paragraph number on line 9 (e.g., 1 for after first). Done—automatic on singles.
This technique has boosted our List25 revenue reliably. Questions? Drop a comment.
