For a new Ring Indoor Camera, start by registering it in the Ring app:
1. Open the Ring app on your mobile device.
2. Tap the menu icon (hamburger) in the upper-right corner.
3. Choose "Set Up a Device" (or "Configure Device").
4. Select "Security Cams".

Once set up, access live view anytime. To use two-way talk, tap the microphone or call icon and speak. End the conversation with the mute or end call button.
Customize alerts by defining motion zones—ideal for restricting pets from off-limits areas like the kitchen counter.
Combine zones with notifications for instant warnings when motion occurs.

To set up motion zones:
1. In the Ring app, select your camera to view the live stream.
