We've explored numerous apps for controlling Android devices from a computer, including Windows-specific tools, browser-based options, and TeamViewer Remote. While TeamViewer works well, compatibility issues arise with some devices. Enter Vysor, a powerful Chrome app developed by renowned Android expert Koushik Dutta—creator of ClockworkMod and Cyanogen—that enables seamless remote control via your browser.
This tool mirrors your phone's screen and allows secure sharing for remote assistance. Note: It requires a USB cable for connection; wireless support isn't available yet.
Windows users: Download and install the ADB drivers from the developer's provided link. It's a straightforward setup—run the installer and follow the prompts.

Mac and Linux users can skip this. Ensure USB debugging is enabled on your Android device (found in Developer Options). This allows your computer to connect via the Android Debug Bridge (ADB).
Install Vysor from the Chrome Web Store. Connect your Android device to your computer via USB cable and open the app. Click 'Find Devices' and select your phone from the list. If it doesn't appear, verify ADB drivers and USB debugging.

Your phone's screen will load in a new browser window. Control it with your mouse and keyboard. Expect minor latency over USB (improving in updates), with automatic image optimization for better speed. Gaming lag has been notably reduced, even in fullscreen.

Vysor's standout feature is internet-based sharing. Click 'Share Link' to generate a unique URL. Share it with anyone—they just need Vysor installed in Chrome. They'll access your screen instantly for real-time control.

Note: If you encounter a 'Chrome has stopped working' error, close and relaunch the app. No granular control options are available yet.
Vysor may not support all Android devices perfectly yet—some detect but fail to launch due to serial number issues. With Dutta's track record, expect rapid fixes and new features. Test it on your setup and share your lag experiences in the comments.
