As a long-time Opera user and browser optimization specialist, I've helped countless users safeguard their data during updates and migrations. Open File Explorer, paste the Profile path into the address bar, and press Enter to access the folder.

4. Select and Copy All Relevant Folders and Files

Inside the Profile folder, select and copy key items like Bookmarks, History, Extensions, Cookies, and other data folders. This ensures a complete backup.

5. Paste into a OneDrive Folder

Open OneDrive, create a new folder (right-click > New > Folder), and paste your files there for cloud-synced safety.

Browser data is irreplaceable. Bookmarks, custom settings, and extensions you've curated over time could be lost forever without a backup, especially during upgrades or hardware changes.
