Samsung's My Files goes beyond simple file moving—it integrates third-party cloud storage and more, reducing the need for extra apps from the Play Store.

Create direct shortcuts to files or images on your home screen. Open My Files, long-press the desired item, tap More in the bottom-right, and select Add to Home screen. Drag or tap Add to place it.

For privacy, Samsung prompts you to remove location data from images or videos before sharing via the One UI share menu.

Access a dedicated compressed folder in My Files for ZIP, RAR, 7Z, and more. Extract and view contents without third-party apps.

Keep sensitive content private by clearing the recent files list. From My Files home, tap the three-dot menu and select Clear recent files list.

My Files serves as a hub for phone, SD card, and cloud files. Seamlessly access OneDrive and Google Drive—hoping for Dropbox and Box support soon.

Add FTP or SFTP servers for accessing PC or Mac files directly. Go to Network storage > Add network storage and select your server type.

Tailor your home screen: In Settings > Customize My Files home, disable unused options like cloud services.
