In today's notification-saturated world, staying focused is a challenge. Apple's iOS 15 Focus modes give you control, filtering distractions based on your context—whether you're working, sleeping, driving, or relaxing. As an iOS power user with years of hands-on experience, I've fine-tuned these features to transform daily productivity.

Access Focus from Control Center: swipe down from the top-right corner. Tap the moon icon to activate Do Not Disturb, or the button for other profiles. Use the three dots to set duration, or tap Settings for full customization. For best results, head to Settings > Focus to build your ideal setups.
iOS 15 offers presets like Do Not Disturb, Personal, Sleep, Work, Driving, Fitness, Games, Mindfulness, and Reading—plus custom options. Share across Apple devices with the toggle. Start with Do Not Disturb for basics.

Toggle it on/off at the top, then customize filters for when and how it activates.

Permit specific people (e.g., family calls) or apps (e.g., Slack) through the filters.
Tap Apps > +, select from your list, then Done. Remove via minus icons or Remove All. Enable Time Sensitive notifications in Settings > Notifications for critical alerts.

Add from Contacts via +. Allow calls from favorites, contacts, everyone, or repeated calls within 3 minutes.

Enable Smart Activation to learn your habits, like auto-on at work or bedtime.
Tailor presets or create custom ones. For unconfigured profiles, guided setup handles apps/people.

Personal mirrors Do Not Disturb with added automations. Driving blocks most alerts, auto-replies, and detects via motion, CarPlay, Bluetooth, or manual.

Custom profiles let you name, colorize, and iconize for perfect fit.
In Control Center, tap the icon (shows last-used profile) to toggle or switch. Focus adapts to your life—silencing nights, shielding drives, and sharpening work focus. Experiment to perfect it; the payoff is seamless concentration.
