In Google Slides, themes bundle coordinated backgrounds, fonts, layouts, and colors for a cohesive look. Open your presentation, then click the Theme button in the toolbar.

Browse the right sidebar for options, select your preferred theme, and it applies instantly—no confirmation needed.

Go to File > Page setup to adjust dimensions.

Choose standard sizes from the dropdown or enter custom values.

Click Apply to update.
Perfect for beginners, speaker notes print alongside slides. From your presentation, select File > Print settings and preview.

Choose "1 slide with notes" or another layout, then print.

Looping restarts your presentation automatically from the first slide. Start presenting via the Present button.

Click the gear icon, enable Loop under Auto-advance, and set timing from 1 second to 1 minute.

Animations and transitions add polish quickly. Select an element, use the toolbar to insert—keep it subtle for professional results.
Skip slides during presentations without deleting them. Right-click the slide in the left pane and choose Skip slide.

A slashed eye icon confirms it's hidden (less visible in dark mode).

Note: Timing applies uniformly across slides. Go to File > Publish to the web.

Select auto-advance interval from the dropdown.

No built-in audio insertion yet, despite demand from presenters. Workarounds exist to incorporate background music effectively.
Text wrapping around images isn't supported—a notable gap compared to Google Docs. Resize and reposition manually as a workaround.
Select text, click the A icon for color options, including custom shades.

Apply and deselect to preview. Use nearby tools for bold, italic, or underline.

Track changes via File > Version history > See version history. Name versions for easy reference.

Browse dated versions on the right and restore as needed.

Google Slides offers intuitive tools and collaboration, though it lacks features like text wrapping. Its free, unlimited access makes it a powerhouse for professionals.
