Google Forms is a powerful tool for collecting data online, from surveys to RSVPs. With a Google account, you can create and manage forms effortlessly. However, by default, response notifications go only to the form owner's email.

In my years of using Google Forms for teams and events, I've often needed to share responses with multiple stakeholders without granting full account access. Whether it's your marketing team tracking survey results or a party committee monitoring RSVPs, this guide shows you how using a trusted third-party add-on I've relied on extensively.
To distribute responses to several email addresses, install a reliable add-on like "Email Notification for Google Forms."
Step 1: Log into Google Forms, open your target form.
Step 2: Click the three-dot menu in the upper right.

Step 3: Select Add-ons.

This opens the Google Workspace Marketplace for easy add-on installation.
Step 4: Search for "Email Notification for Google Forms" and select it.

Step 5: Click Install.

Step 6: Sign in with your Google credentials in the new tab.

Step 7: Grant permissions by clicking Allow at the bottom.

Step 8: Confirm installation with Next; check your email for notification.

Step 1: On the form editor, click the add-on icon (puzzle piece) in the upper right.

Step 2: Choose "Email Notifications for Google Forms."

Step 3: Select Create Email Notification.

Step 4: Name your rule (e.g., matching the form title).

Step 5: Enter email addresses in "Email Address(es) to Notify," separated by commas.

Step 6: Click Save Rule.

Step 7: Confirm success and share your form.

Responses now email to all specified addresses automatically.

To edit rules later:
Step 1: Open the form, click add-on icon.

Step 2: Select "Email Notifications for Google Forms."

Step 3: Click Manage form settings.

Step 4: Click Edit under your rule.

Step 5: Add/remove emails (comma-separated), save changes.

Note: Always separate multiple emails with commas.
Automatically sharing form responses keeps teams updated instantly. This method has streamlined my workflows countless times.
