Reels stand out with seamless Instagram integration, instant exposure, and access to stunning filters and effects—perfect if you're exploring alternatives to TikTok on Android or iOS.
Reels aren't on the home screen; they're in the Stories menu. Swipe right or tap the camera icon in the top left to access Stories, then select Reels. You can also discover them in the Explore tab.

Music is key to captivating Reels. Tap the Music icon to browse categorized tracks. The best feature? Preview and select exact portions with on-screen lyrics for perfect sync.

Control the pace: slow down to 0.5x for dramatic effect or speed up to 3x for dynamic clips. Tap the speed icon on the Reels screen.

Elevate your Reels with fun effects like silly faces, party lights, or green screen. Tap the effects icon and swipe through options tailored for every mood.

Reels support up to 15 seconds, but shorter is often better. Use the timer icon to set 3, 5, 10, or 15 seconds.

Filming group shots? Set a 3-second timer to get in position hands-free.

Avoid shaky transitions: After recording a clip, tap Align to overlay and match the next one perfectly.

Hit the back arrow to review your full Reel and make tweaks before sharing.

Not ready to post? Tap the forward arrow, then save to your drafts for later.

Add emojis, text, time, date, or location stickers to boost visual appeal and context.

Stand out in feeds: Tap Cover in the share menu and select your best frame.

Post to Feed, Stories (24-hour limit), or save privately. Drafts are also available.

Drag up to zoom in or down to zoom out live—ideal for concerts or events.
Love a track? Tap the music note on any Reel and select 'Use Audio' to start creating.

Reels are public by default and can be remixed. Switch to a private account via Profile > Menu > Settings > Privacy > Account Privacy.

Go to Profile > Reels tab > Select Reel > Three dots > Delete.
