Google Chrome's 'Send to Your Devices' feature is incredibly useful for quickly sharing tabs across your devices. However, if it's causing distractions or unwanted tabs from family members, you can easily disable it. As a seasoned Chrome user and tech expert with years of experience optimizing browser settings, I'll walk you through the process on desktop (Windows and macOS), Android, and iOS.
We'll preserve your workflow while regaining control. Note: Repeat these steps on each device where you want to disable the feature.

Whether you prefer bookmarking pages the old-fashioned way or simply want to remove the 'Send' icon from the address bar and context menus, here's how.
To turn off this feature, disable the 'Open Tabs' sync option. This removes the 'Send' icon and options from context menus but also hides open tabs from other devices in your History menu. If that's acceptable, follow these steps:
Step 1: Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Step 2: Under 'You and Google', click Sync and Google services.

Step 3: Click Manage sync.

Step 4: Toggle off Open tabs.

Note: If toggles are grayed out, turn off Sync everything first. Your device may still appear in 'Send to Your Devices' lists on other devices, but sent tabs won't arrive.
Disable 'Open Tabs' sync to remove sharing options and incoming tabs. This also hides recent tabs from other devices.
Step 1: Tap the three-dot menu (top-right), then Settings > Sync and Google services.

Step 2: Tap Manage sync and uncheck Open tabs.

Note: If grayed out, toggle off Sync everything. Sharing sheets and incoming pages will no longer show 'Send to Your Devices'.
This removes the option from the Share sheet and blocks incoming links, but hides recent tabs too.
Step 1: Tap the three-dot menu (top-right on iPad, bottom-right on iPhone) > Settings.

Step 2: Tap Sync and Google Services.

Step 3: Tap Manage Sync.

Step 4: Toggle off Open tabs.

Note: Disable Sync everything if needed. Tap Done to save.
Disabling won't harm your setup if you don't use the feature. To re-enable later, toggle 'Open tabs' back on in Manage Sync.
